This Privacy Policy explains how Listing Studio collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and other applicable South African law.

Who we are Listing Studio ("Listing Studio", "we", "us" or "our") is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Sandton, South Africa. For the purposes of POPIA, Listing Studio is the "Responsible Party" that determines how and why your personal information is processed.

1.Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information when you sign up for and use Listing Studio:

Account information — your name, email address, mobile number, agency name, and login credentials.
Profile & branding information — your headshot, logo, contact details, social media handles and any branding assets you upload to personalise your marketing outputs.
Listing content — property details, images, URLs and descriptions you submit or that we retrieve from property portals or websites at your instruction.
Payment information — billing details processed securely by our payment provider, Paystack. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.
Usage & technical information — device, browser, IP address, log data and information about how you interact with the service.

2.How we use your information

We process your personal information to:

Create and manage your account and subscription;
Generate the marketing outputs you request (captions, posts, emails, videos and related content);
Process payments and manage billing through Paystack;
Provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
Improve, secure and maintain the service;
Send you service-related communications, and — where you have consented — marketing communications you can opt out of at any time;
Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

3.Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal information on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you (providing the service you signed up for), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and compliance with our legal obligations, as permitted under POPIA.

4.Third parties and sub-processors

We share personal information only as necessary to operate the service, including with:

Paystack — for secure payment processing;
Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store data and run the service;
AI and content-generation providers — to produce captions, imagery and video from the content you submit;
Communication and email providers — to deliver emails you send or that we send to you.

We require these parties to protect your information and to process it only for the purposes we specify. Some of these providers may process data outside South Africa; where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection as required by POPIA.

5.Property and third-party personal information

Important — your responsibility If you submit property listings, client details or other information containing the personal information of third parties (for example sellers, buyers or co-workers), you confirm that you are lawfully entitled to do so and have obtained any necessary consent. You act as the Responsible Party for that information; Listing Studio processes it on your behalf as an Operator under your instruction.

6.How we protect your information

We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7.How long we keep your information

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

8.Your rights under POPIA

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
Request that we correct or update inaccurate information;
Object to or request that we stop processing your information in certain circumstances;
Request deletion of your information where we are not required to retain it;
